Q. What does "Wire Out" mean?

[Home -> F.A.Q. -> FAQ002]

Orders delivered to towns outside our service area, generally beyond a 30-minute driving radius, will be "wired out." All the out-of-town orders are wired out.

The "wire out" means that we relay such orders through a special wire-service to another local florist in the recipient's town. We are members of two national floral wire-services, FTD and teleflora.

In "wire-out" orders, we are not making your arrangement. It is another florist who will make and deliver your arrangement.

$10 local delivery charge for wire-out orders

Since each florist's delivery charge is different, we will be adding $10 flat delivery fee to all wire-out orders placed over the Internet. We transfer your flower price plus this $10 to the florist in the destination town.

The delivery charge is different from "Service fee" charged by most Internet "florists" sites. This "Service fee" is their extra markup and will not be passed onto the actual florist who makes your arrangement. We do not charge any such rip-off fee to our customers.

Be careful of any Internet flower-telemarketer site who claims "free delivery", because that is not true. The florist who receive your order from the flower-telemarketer will always deduct their delivery charge from the total amount you paid.
