Started by two sisters in downtown Huntington more than 50 years ago (1947), "Flowers by Margie and Lynn" has established itself as a premier, local florist providing beautiful flower arrangements, the freshest flowers, and quality service to Huntington, Northport, Melville, Woodbury, Syosset area.

In 2005, the florist came under new ownership, bringing with it a new focus on artistic and unique floral design while demonstrating a shared commitment to offering exquisite arrangements, premium grade flowers, and excellent customer care.

“Flowers by Margie and Lynn” became “Flowers Insolita”, a name reflecting our floral philosophy. Insolita is a Latin word meaning “unusual”.

At "Flowers Insolita" we believe that each and every arrangement is an individual work of art. It is the goal of our floral designers to arrange flowers in a distinctive way that captures their innate beauty and harmony.
